The name Shykha is an entanglement of first generation and second-generation cooking styles. Founded by a passionate father and daughter duo, Shyam and Upekha produce a labour of love & dedication, bringing you the colourful traditions of their homeland Sri Lanka, to your plate. Shyam and Upekha together, bring you Food by Shykha. 

At Food by Shykha, they believe that food is an expression of culture, and each dish tells a story of tradition, heritage, and the joy of sharing a meal. Our food is made with only the freshest ingredients. We personally hand pick our produced from local markets, allowing us to control and maintain the quality of every single dish that we make.

Everything we make is made to order, we endeavour to create a zero waste environment where we never make in excess. This means that every order placed, is always made fresh and never a head of time.

This increased the shelf life of our dishes allowed your family to enjoy your meal more than once!
